According to university norms, an attendance of 75% of lectures is mandatory. Shortage of lectures, except in genuine medical cases, will not be condoned and the student may face disqualification from final exams. Students must avoid absenting themselves from classes without valid reason.
Students must bear in mind that any type of leave, even if duly sanctioned, does not mean exemption from eligibility conditions for appearing in final University examinations.
College Leave Rules
Leave must be applied for in advance on the prescribed leave form available from the college campus. Medical leave up to one week will be admissible if the candidate applies within 3 days of joining, along with the medical certificate.
For medical leave exceeding 1 week, the teacher must be informed at the earliest and the student must get her leave sanctioned within 3 days of joining the college. A CMO-certified medical certificate should be attached for medical leave. No medical leave will be admissible later on.
College Examinations
The College Examinations are held in Sept./Oct. and March/April. Attendance is mandatory in Pre-examinations.
Scoring at least 40% marks in aggregate is also essential so as to clear the condition and be eligible for the final university examination.
